Spray painting Poly Spray on the Wings

Dale Chevalier helped flip the wings so the the last two wings could be brushed with Poly Spray once rough spots were touched up with the iron.
 Nancy McKinnon brought cookies!!

Visitors dropped in to check out the progress - Steve Smart (above) and Bert and his hangar partner (below), along with Rollie Wicstrom, Ted Johnson and Brian Koldyk.

Things started get pretty crowded in the RAA Workshop Final Assembly Building when the fuselage arrived! Rick and George kept brushing on the Poly Spray using any free space they could find.

The dried wings were moved to Garfield Oakman's hangar with the help of Tony Butt (rht) Harvey McKinnon and Ted Hector.

Mark and Gerry Mason helped guide the wings over to Garfield's hangar.
John McNarry and Rick Riewe carry a wing over to get sprayed with the2nd and 3rd coat of Poly Spray in Garfield's hangar.

Jan McNarry and Nancy McKinnon help Harvey move in Garfield's airplane after offering his hangar as a 'spray booth'! Thank you Garfield!

Garfield checked us out on operating his door. Thank you Garfield for the space to paint the Tiger Moth. Garfield flew Tiger Moths when he first learned how to fly!!

Harvey McKinnon volunteered to spray the 2nd and 3rd cross coats of Poly Spray on all four wings and ailerons! Thank you! Grant Pronishen lent us the spraying equipment as Harvey's was in his garage at Stonewall.

Rick helped with the spot lights. Photo credit JohnWood.
